The 16th Taiwan-Japan Joint Symposium on Catalysis (a bilateral meeting between Taiwan and Japan) was held in Kyoto Garden Palace, Kyoto, Japan, on January 29-31, 2018. The symposium was organized by Professor Tsunehiro Tanaka and Professor Kentaro Teramura of Kyoto University.
