Because of the pandemic, the 39th Taiwan Symposium on Catalysis and Reaction Engineering in 2021 has been to the next year and to be held in Taipei in 2022.
Workshop of Industrial Catalysis Processes and Catalysts was held in Hong-Nan Training Room of CPC in Kaohsiung on April 29th, 2021.
Conference of Catalytic Mechanism Study: Join Efforts from Theorists and Experimentalists, organized by Professor Jyh-Chiang Jiang and Professor Shawn D. International Symposium on Porous Materials 2020 (ISPM2020) has taken place as a hybrid event, in-person and online during November 6-7, 2020. The symposium has intended to provide a forum for researchers in the world, especially those from Japan, China, Korea, and Taiwan, to discuss recent developments in research and applications of porous materials.
Because of pandemic crisis, the first Taipei International Conference on Catalysis, TICC-2020 has been postponed to the later years.

Workshop of Fundamental and Characterizations of Solid Catalysts was held in Liberal Education Classroom Building of National Taiwan University on August 5-6, 2020.
The 38th Taiwan Symposium on Catalysis and Reaction Engineering has been held in Department of Chemical Engineering of National Taiwan University in Taipei city of Taiwan, on July 16-17, 2020. There were 245 participants on site, and only Professor Takashi Tatsumi gave an on-line plenary speech in Japan through a Webex system.
Dr. Yusamusa Takenaka (RIKEN of Japan) gave a speech entitled “Development of High Performance and Specific Functional Bioplastic Materials from Biomass Resources”, in Department of Chemical Engineering of National Taiwan University on December 27, 2019.
Workshop on The Catalytic Conversion of C1 Chemicals was held in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology on December 20, 2019.
